Summary and Aims

This eCourse takes you through the bone and soft tissue injuries of the hand as well as common hand infections that you can expect to see in the Emergency Department.

At the end of the eCourse you will be able to take the quiz to check your learning. The pass mark for the quiz is 70%, but you can take it as many times as you want !

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the eCourse you will be able to:
- understand the differences in a variety of hand infections
- understand the ED management for common hand fractures
- explain why Seymour fractures are managed differently from other distal phalanx fractures
- identify the difference between a Bennetts and a Rolando fracture
