Q: Do I need a youtube or vimeo account to create an eCourse ?

A: No, you can create eCourse with slideshows, documents, audio, and quizes without the need for a vimeo or youtube account. You will however need a youtube or vimeo account if you want to include video content in your eCourse. Both of these are free to join, although also offer a paid service. For most people the free option is fine. When you upload your video content to either youtube or vimeo you can set the access to either being open to anyone and appearing in their searches, or just those people with the specific link. Make sure to check that you don't restrict the access completely, as otherwise you eCourse will not be able to connect to them !

Q: Can I use the same video in more than one eCourse ?

A: Because the videos are held on vimeo and youtube servers, you are able to insert the same link into as many eCourses as you like. This provides flexibility and makes it easier to more quickly develop tailored eCourses. You may choose to put a combination of generic videos and specific videos into eCourses

Q: Atlantic courses will not accept my video link

A: Please check your vimeo or youtube settings to ensure they are not restricting your content from being displayed on other websites. Remember, if you don't want your videos to be searchable outside of Atlantic Courses, then this can be set within vimeo and youtube.
